Grom Project Site

There’s a cool project that potentially able to hook up potential surfers with company sponsors. The project name is Grom Project.

In their own words:

The Grom Project is dedicated to educating, inspiring and preparing youth to build a better future: for themselves, their communities and the environment. We speak to kids through surfing - its athletes, companies and culture; because the surfing lifestyle, at its best, challenges us to pursue respect, personal excellence, knowledge and peace.

How true.

It’s nice to hear that people are still care about the better living earth. It’s a core of Boardriding community anyway…

I’m a Friend of CJ Hobgood!

Got this email today from a boardriding social networking site GO211.com:

You have received a friend request from cjhobgood:

Hey! Me and my brother Damien just joined Go211.com’s pro team! We’ll be uploading new videos and photos of our competitions and travels - you’re definitely going to want to check it out!

Add me as a friend - then we can stay in touch!

Dude, i felt special and stoked. I went to my profile page at go211, and approved his friend request. Soon after that, i read this on the upper side of go211’s front page:

Breaking News: ASP and Go211.com announce new venture; Professional Surfers C.J. and Damien Hobgood have joined the Go211 Pro Team!

So i realize, everyone that has Go211 profile would probably become CJ Hobgood’s friend.

Dude… damn. I suddenly back to a ‘ordinary’ person feeling.

Ok, at least CJ is one of my 3 top friends now. In a boardriding networking site. Thanks CJ, you’re a top friend to me!
