I’m a big fan of OBEY clothing, so when i found this news, i think i should post this to my blog. Of course, why not.

Kapor Hamilton Public Relations (KHPR) is pleased to announce the addition of three new clients. Raw 7, OBEY Clothing and the 2007 Surfer Poll and Video Awards have retained the agency and join the ranks of ASICS, Jenny Han and Actions Sports Group (ASG) events including the Oakley Newport Beach Pro, O’Neill Cold Water Classic and Macy’s California Trifecta Surf Series on the agency’s impressive roster.

Inspired by the iconic imagery and philosophy of Shepard Fairey, OBEY Clothing was launched in 2001. Working closely with fashion designers Mike Ternosky and Erin Wignall, Fairey translates his philosophy into altered-classic styles. Each season, multiple themes and ideas are thrown into the melting pot, creating a style often difficult to categorize.

So OBEY Clothing is getting closer with the surf industry, which i think is cool. I hope to see more OBEY coverage in the industry, for sure.
