But in the end, a professional, either it&#039;s athlete, lawyer, doctor, bands or whatever is a personal entity that should stand alone out off those social media sites. However, smart marketers combine the strength of the two.</description>

Thanks for the recognition. Glad you liked my new site. I totally agree, there&#039;s not a lot of guys in the windsurfing world who have personal websites, and I think that&#039;s the same throughout many sports. 

I actually wrote an article about this sought of thing on another website of mine:

Although, admittedly, I did say that having just a MySpace page was ok! But I was aiming it at kids, not full-time professional athletes!
